Testimonials

As a parent of a son who is a lot like Evin, this book has been a perfect way to share how Gavin and Evin are so much like every other kid! Kids like Evin and Gavin also have a special perspective when it comes to helping others. They don’t just need help, they can give it, too! It’s also a great gift

Mindy Grubbs

The first book is wonderfully illustrated, and the story is powerful. I read to my friend who’s 6, she was full of questions about Evin and why he was in a wheelchair. It’s a conversation starter for sure…I recommended the book to my friend whose child has cerebral palsy and they loved it too.

Pam Zaborny

As a medical professional, I often meet people with disabilities who are not “seen” by society. The story of Evin’s World is powerful because it shows the beauty of the unseen being seen and how there is value in every person. Highly recommend for parents teaching their children to see the world!

Wes Oliver

Evin’s World at the Zoo has given me new perspective and helped me focus more on what he is able to do. This book is a delightful way to share that perspective with children and adults.

Cindy Yeater

Our elementary librarian read Evin’s World to several classes, then ordered copies for the kids to check out!

Marla Slaughter

I loved how Evin used his abilities to help others and put them first.
